Corter Moon: Who Dat?

Who Dat?

Hi there! I'm Jennifer!

I'm a 30-something stay-at-home mommy by day and a freelance writer/blogger by night. I adore collecting beads and creating wearable art with them - really, I think it's just the fact that I am attracted to anything sparkly, and my incessant need to collect it all like a Pokemon trainer. I also have a terrible notebook addiction, you'll find them scattered about in every corner my room. I'm navigating the waters of single-motherhood with my son Syrus Voltaire through humor and levity.

Caffeine fuels my rants, raves and writings.
Writing is my passion, and something I've loved to do since I was a child. You can find my articles at What To Expect, Imperfect Parent, Mom's Shopping Engine, Growing Your Baby, Rewards4Mom, FreeStuffFinder and more.

When I was a teenager, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia syndrome, a painful and wretched muscoloskeletal condition. In addition to that, I also live with Endometriosis, CFS, IBS, GERD, DDD, OCD, MDD and Chronic Epstein-Barr Virus. I'm a walking dictionary of acronyms. Most days, I feel like a ninety-year-old in a 30 year-olds body. But I press on and express myself through my writings.

Since becoming ill, I have created a community of like-minded individuals who have vowed not to let their chronic illnesses rule their lives and to thrive and live positively in the face of pain. Positivity In Pain has grown to over 80,000 plus fans on our Facebook page alone, and we are proud to host a variety of projects to raise awareness for different causes each year.

In any case, I am so delighted that you have chosen to stop by my little corner of the blogging world! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, every visit and every comment mean the world to me!

I love your writing! :] I only did journalism in high school, and wrote/edited for a research journal in undergrad, but I miss it a lot! Blogging helps to fill that void! :P

I found your blog on Top Mommy Blogs, and I love it (even though I'm a dad :) I'm sorry to hear about your condition and I wish you the VERY BEST!!!

Your blog is so full of practical advice and really helpful ideas! I recently wrote a parenting book myself, and I'd love your thoughts on it. The eBook is free on Amazon from 11/24 to 11/28 by searching "How to Raise Great Kids - 101 Fun & Easy Ideas."

I admire your work so much, and I hope you'll appreciate mine someday soon, too. Thanks and keep up all your outstanding work!

Happy Turkey Day!!!

Hiya Jennifer,

My name is Roxana and I’m a lifestyle consultant and travel/lifestyle editor at an online Aussie lifestyle mag

I’m looking to collaborate with some awesome bloggers and spread my blogging voice. Your blog oozed uniqueness and spoke to me in the sea of blogs on the web.

I would love to write about anything form relationships, dating, mindfulness, to healthy yummy food or even event planning. Also I am always happy to write about anything Sydney related. :)

I am sending over some of my recent work, so you can check out my writing skills

Let me know if you are up for this collab and I can pitch you some themes. I am sure we can figure something out :)

Thank you,
