How To Create A "DreamBox"

This was an idea that I had been toying around with in my head for a little while. Each night when our little guy goes to bed, he is always so scared that he is going to have a bad dream. So I came up with a kind of different idea. A dream box.

The DreamBox where Syrus can stick is little hand in and pull out a piece of paper, of which have all kinds of items that he loves. He even made sure to throw broccoli in there. He loves broccoli. Hey, I ain't arguing.

It's really easy to make, too. Just grab an empty tissue box and some crafting popsicle sticks. We used double sided tape to make the popsicle sticks, well, stick.

Stupid blurry camera.
Then we cut up some paper strips.

And into smaller pieces. We wrote the dreams on these little slips of paper.

These are only some of the dreams that he wanted mommy to write down for him.

I had to note the "broccoli" dream wish.

And this is the finished dream box! Voila!

The best part about our "Dream Box" is that it is another tradition that we can continue to do at night before bed. It's enjoyable and fun and really cute to see Syrus' face when he picks out a dream. Then we tell him to think about that particular "dream" when going to sleep at night so that he doesn't have a "bad dream." It's been working well so far. I just wanted to share this awesome little project with all of you.
