You'll recall my previous post on how to snag the best freebies and free samples out there. This post is a little bit different. Today, I want to show you how to score free products. Yes, as in free FULL SIZED PRODUCTS that you can keep.
Once again, it's taken me the better part of five years to learn where to look and how to find the best ones, but it is possible. I have received all kinds of goodies, from a free Hug-Me Elmo doll for my son, to crafting supplies, to even free money. Yes, free money. No gimmicks, seriously. I don't like bullshit just like the next person.
So let's take a look at some of the niftiest websites out there for scoring free swag, shall we?
When you become a BzzAgent, you're signing up for something awesome. As a BzzAgent, you fill out miniature "surveys," about yourself, your household, what you buy, etc. They take this information and use it to find the best products for you to test and give them feedback on. I've gotten some great toys for Syrus through this program!
Toluna is geared more towards surveys. When you take them, you can earn points and trade them in for gift cards and even cash. But on another part of their website, you can sign up to try free products when they become available. Neat, right?
Swagbucks allows you to complete simple tasks such as watching videos and completing surveys in exchange for "Swagbucks," which can be redeemed for cool items like gift cards and other products.
Points2Shop is definitely in my top list of favorite websites. Set up very similar to Toluna, it allows users to complete actions in exchange for "points," which can be redeemed for a number of cool items, mostly from Amazon! I've received necklaces, stuffed plush animals and a lot more from them! One year, I even did a majority of my Christmas shopping through Points2Shop - for free!
Who doesn't love gift cards? You can get whatever your heart desires with them! In saying that, who doesn't love getting gift cards for free? You can with InstaGC. Much like the other websites listed above, complete actions, which are quick and painless, receive points, trade them in for gift cards. Enjoy your new found addiction.
Influensters unique system is pretty fun. If you have a decent social media following, like a Facebook page or Twitter account, sign up! Once you fill out your profile with your likes and interests, you'll receive e-mails asking you to fill out their pre-box surveys, seeing if you qualify for a "VoxBox," which is what they call their boxes, which are typically filled with full-sized products to try.
With Klout Perks, it looks like you have to have a decent social media following in order to qualify for many of them.
Listia is kind of like eBay, but without the cash. Say you have items lying around your home just collecting dust. Someone else might like them, right? List them up on Listia, and people will "bid" on your items with points. Once your auction ends with a winner, you get their points transferred to you, which you can spend on whatever you want on their website! It's a really fun system.
RecycleBank puts the fun back into recycling, and the "friend" back into eco-friendly. By completing actions, like reading articles and completing fun quizzes that are green-themed, you can earn points! I've received many a magazine subscription from RB! Not crappy quality magazines, either, I get both People and US Weekly every week in my mailbox!
If you aren't camera shy, then ExpoTV will be great for you! Receive products and complete video reviews. Quick and painless.
These are only a few of the very many website that are out there. As I find more, I will update this list, so stay tuned!
