When It Becomes Clear That We Say Too Much

With each new day that passes, my child never ceases to keep my husband and I on our toes. Besides the fact my child sticks his head in the couch cushions when I make him angry, he has a rather large vocabulary for a three year old. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that he picked up a good amount of what he says from my husband and I.

If you have a toddler, you will know exactly how hard it can be to get your little one to sit down and eat dinner. Every night it is a new battle with Syrus. It's always a hit or miss with him. He either adores what we have put on the table or he turns his nose up at it like a snooty stuck-up little man. Case in point, last night's dinner. We had fried chicken (admittedly not the best meal for anybody, but if you're a busy parent, you know what it is like to want to get dinner on the table, and fast.) We had salad, peas and mashed potatoes, a decent spread if I do say so myself.

We all sit down to enjoy a nice family meal together, our little guy takes a few small bites, randomly gets up from the table, pushes his chair in and yells rather loudly "That' IT, I am DONE with you people."

Okay, where did that come from?!
